The FILA annual schedule is as follows:
Call For Entries: August 1
Films and scripts for the following year’s festival are accepted.
Early Deadline: December 27
Features & Screenplays: $30 entry fee. Shorts: $20 entry fee.
Regular Deadline: January 17
Features & Screenplays: $35 entry fee. Shorts: $25 entry fee.
Late Deadline: February 7
Features & Screenplays: $40 entry fee. Shorts: $30 entry fee.
Extended Deadline: February 28
Features & Screenplays: $45 entry fee. Shorts: $35 entry fee.
Notification Date: April 1
Filmmakers learn if their films have been accepted to Film Invasion L.A. on this date. Screenwriters get results closer to the festival.
Festival Screenings: Mid-June
Screenings are held on weekends from Noon until Midnight. Exact screening dates change from year to year.
