Film Invasion Lima showcases wonderful undiscovered films in one of South America’s most dynamic cities! FI-Lima has been created in association with the team behind two festivals ranked in FilmFreeway’s Top 100 Best Rated list, The Discover Indie Film Foundation (DIFF), a California absed nonprofit for the arts. DIFF presents two festivals every year, Film Invasion Los Angeles (FI-LA) and Sherman Oaks Film Festival (SOFF).
Artists from Lima, Peru and one of the DIFF founders had a wonderful conversation at the closing night mixer of the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in December, 2024 that lead to… FI-Lima! The team running FI-Lima is dedicated to bringing the same “filmmaker’s first” festival experience to Peru that people have been enjoying in Los Angeles since 2016!
